A local family-owned travel agency in Mestia, Georgia. Svaneti tours, trekking and hiking, horse riding, jeep excursions and private transfers — with guides born in these valleys.
We are a Svan family from Mestia, in Upper Svaneti, Georgia — and Visit Svaneti is our own small travel agency, not an office in Tbilisi.
We guide Svaneti trekking tours and Svaneti hiking tours, including the classic Mestia–Ushguli trek, winter Svaneti ski touring, horse riding in the valleys around Mestia, and Svaneti private tours and transfers. We also arrange rooms in family guesthouses along the way. Everything is driven, walked and cooked by people who live here — that is all Svaneti travel means to us.

Book your tripWe are a local Svan family from Mestia. The mountains, villages, roads and trails of Upper Svaneti are not places we researched — they are where we grew up, and where we live every day.
When you write to us, you write directly to the family. The same people who answer your first message plan your route, guide you on the mountain and drive the jeep — nothing is passed on to anyone else. You are not a booking number here; you are a guest.
